From Ayr Train Station

We’re only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the station, but if you’ve got a lot of luggage, taxis can be found directly outside.

  1. Cross over Smith Street and walk past the front of the Odeon Cinema.
  2. Turn left into Beresford Terrace and continue along this road until you reach Carrick Road.
  3. We are situated on the left-hand side (No.11) shortly after the school (on your right).

By Car

  1. If you are travelling to Ayr by car from the north or the south, get onto the M77/A77 and head for the roundabout signposting Ayr (South), the A70.  Ayr train Station should be directly in front of you.
  2. At the double roundabout take the 1st exit, then the 2nd onto Station Bridge.
  3. Follow the road round to the left then right, past the Tam O’ Shanter filling station, staying in the left-hand lane.
  4. At traffic lights, turn left on to Beresford Terrace (A79).
  5. Beresford Terrace becomes Carrick Road after the next junction, and we are on the left-hand side shortly after (11 Carrick Road).

From Prestwick Airport

Taxis can be found directly outside the terminal building and will cost you about £7 depending on the time of day.

If you’re hiring a car the following directions should get you to our door in 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.

  1. On the roundabout outside the main terminal building, take the 1st exit heading towards Ayr & Prestwick.
  2. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit, onto the A79.
  3. Stay on this road until you reach a mini roundabout, at which take the 2nd exit into Allison Street (A79).
  4. Take the 2nd exit at the police station roundabout onto John Street (A79).
  5. At the fire station roundabout, take the 3rd exit into Station Road (A79) across the River Ayr.
  6. At the double roundabout, take the 2nd exit (straight ahead) then take the 2nd exit onto Station Bridge.
  7. Follow the road round to the left then right, past the Tam O’ Shanter filling station, staying in the left-hand lane.
  8. At traffic lights, turn left on to Beresford Terrace (A79).
  9. Beresford Terrace becomes Carrick Road after the next junction, and we are on the left-hand side shortly after (11 Carrick Road).
